Privacy Policy

ParseSight is a Windows desktop application and website operated by ParseSight. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@parsesight.com.

Information we collect

When you purchase. PayPal provides us with the email address associated with your payment, a PayPal payer identifier, and payment order and capture identifiers. PayPal processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; ParseSight does not receive or store your card or bank-account number.

For license delivery. We store your purchase email, a license record, a hash of your license key, and an encrypted copy of the key so we can deliver and support your purchase. We also store a private device-management token in encrypted form.

For activation. When you activate the application, our licensing service receives the device identifier supplied by the application and an optional device label. We store a one-way hash of the device identifier, not the raw identifier, together with activation and deactivation times and the label. The service uses this information to enforce one active computer per license and to validate your license.

Support. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, including your email address and the contents of your message.

Information the application does not collect

ParseSight processes the selected screen region locally. It does not read game files or process memory, inspect network packets, inject into or modify another process, or send screenshots, OCR text, combat logs, encounter data, trigger packs, or game-process data to ParseSight. The desktop application does not include analytics or advertising trackers.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics on public website pages to understand site traffic and improve ParseSight. Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device information, referral source, and interactions with the website. It may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. We do not place analytics on the private license-management page, and we do not intentionally send license keys, device-management tokens, screenshots, OCR text, or combat data to Google Analytics. Google processes analytics information under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use information to process and verify purchases, deliver license keys, activate and manage licenses, provide support, prevent abuse and duplicate activations, respond to legal requests, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not sell personal information or use purchase information for behavioral advertising.

Service providers

We use PayPal to process payments and may use an email hosting or SMTP provider to deliver license and support messages. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, protect the service, or establish or defend legal claims.

Retention and security

We retain purchase, license, and transaction records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the product, operate licensing, resolve disputes, meet accounting and legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and maintain support history. We use access controls, encrypted secrets, hashed identifiers, and encrypted license data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record purposes. You may also ask us to stop sending non-essential messages. To make a request, email admin@parsesight.com from the address associated with your purchase. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Cookies and external links

Google Analytics and PayPal checkout may use cookies or similar technologies on public website pages. ParseSight does not use analytics information for behavioral advertising. This website may link to third-party services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Children

ParseSight is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
